Nominations are live!
Dec. 20th, 2015 06:11 amNominations are now open for this year's exchange and will remain open until 11:59pm EST on 29 December 2015! The tag set is here.
A reminder, this is a relationship based exchange! This means that you are matching on both medium source (aka fic or art) and the type of story you want.
There are no restrictions on what you can nominate. The only restrictions are that you can nominate up to 5 fandoms and up to 20 relationships.
Any issues, such as possible duplication of fandoms, I'll post them here, so please keep an eye out for them.
Otherwise I look forward to seeing what you nominate!

- If you want shipfic, nominate your relationship as Character A/Character B.
- If you want genfic, nominate the relationship as Character A&Character B.

Date: 2015-12-20 04:49 pm (UTC)How should I submit my Doctor Who (and extended universe) nominations? I want to nominate pairings for the first (classic) run of Doctor Who, the second (current) run of Doctor Who, and Torchwood. I ask because different exchanges tend to treat Doctor Who differently, depending on the needs of the exchange.

Date: 2015-12-20 05:57 pm (UTC)For exchanges, though, I've seen the Whoverse treated in different ways. femslashex and Rare Pair Fest put all of the Whoverse under the Doctor Who tag, while Public Call (a Doctor Who exchange) put all of the Whoverse under "Doctor Who & Related Fandoms." Meanwhile, Every Woman, Not Prime Time, and Ship Swap seperate classic Who from new Who.
IIRC, for femslashex, some people preferred putting Doctor Who and its spinoffs together under "Doctor Who" because it allowed them to request characters in extended material such as comics and audiobooks. And Not Prime Time considers classic Who by itself as a medium-sized fandom, which is why it qualifies for that exchange.

Date: 2015-12-21 05:40 pm (UTC)Might be worth doing the same with Star Trek? Always seems particularly weird to me when people who all exist in the 24th Century and know each other end up hidden away because they "belong" to different series.
