None of these are mine, but... Deadpool is not MCU, because he's owned by Fox, sadly - however Cosmo did make an appearance at the end of the GoTG movie.

Star Wars: Rogue One may need to stay its own category; some people won't see it by writing time? (I hope they do, but I know I didn't see TFA until 6 weeks after release)

The other argument for keeping the eras of Star Wars separated out is there are writers who ONLY write for Prequels, Original Trilogy, Legends, etc, with no overlap.

But that can be gotten around because of characters.

Not my nom, but Mad Hatter|Jefferson is a character from Once Upon a Time. As this pairing requested last year, too, I'm pretty sure it's MCU Loki.

Cosmo appeared in two scenes in Guardians of the Galaxy. He was shown in the Collector's collection and then again in the post-credits scene.

I think Prequel Trilogy, Original Trilogy, Rogue One, etc. are good ways to go. A lot of people only write for certain movies or certain media. Besides, it's a huge franchise. A person who knows the Prequel Trilogy very well may not be as familiar with, say, the 2008-2014 Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series or with the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic video game series and expansions.

I agree with this. There are novels that were supposed to be canon too. It's all too much to lump into "All media types", especially since canon actually conflicts between some of those.

I'm just now watching Clone Wars for the first time and liking it, and have otherwise enjoyed the movies but not really in a fannish way, so this sounds good.

I'd say just do star wars - all media types. i don't think it is really necessary to split them up. for example, i want to request a kannan/hera fic from star wars rebels. someone who is offering fanfic in star wars all media types isn't going to ask for that pairing unless they have seen the show rebels. honestly, i am not sure who shows up in rogue one. but overall i don't think it is a problem. plus there's room for people to do crossover pairings.

deadpool has not appeared in mcu and can't due to rights the different film companies have. spiderman and deadpool have met in other formats like comics (they have their own now, that is literally called spider-man/deadpool) and in cartoon shows (i think deadpool has showed up in the most recent spiderman one). this kind of also applies to the clint & deadpool request. like i said deadpool isn't part of mcu, but in other media these two have met.

mad hatter|jefferson is a character from the abc tv show once upon a time. he is actually played by sebastian stan, who also plays bucky barnes in mcu.

I'd also suggest doing Star Wars - All Media. People may want to cross characters from the different movies/trilogies?

And, selfishly for nominating, all Star Wars pairs can be listed under one fandom vs having to use multiple fandom slots for different Star wars movies.

Maybe keep movieverse, bookverse and other medias separate? I'm not familiar with anything Star Wars except for the movies, so I would prefer to be not matched to people who's hoping to create/get fanwork based on story arcs I haven't read/played/watched.

Minerva McGonagall/Septima Vector is a Harry Potter (bookverse) ship, and it's showing up correctly there, but it's labeled as MCU for some reason.

I would be fine with having all of Star Wars under AMT. (I nominated Rogue One and OT.) If it gets moved, can I renominate under AMT and use my Rogue One slot for a different fandom?

Looking at the Star Wars stuff, it might work to have it all under AMT, but disambiguate relationships by canon you want to write them in (e.g. "Han/Leia (Original Trilogy)", "Han/Leia (The Force Awakens)"). Something similar happened with Transformers last year, where you'd have "Optimus Prime/Megatron (IDW)" and "Optimus Prime/Megatron (Unicron Trilogy)" both in the tagset. That would work for both the people who want to get it all in AMT so they can spend only one fandom slot and the people who only want to write in one canon.

For Star Wars, I'll really prefer not to have it all under AMT, because it's such a sprawling universe and people can't be expected to know everything, and there are enough overlapping characters that this might be a problem.

For example - I can write Ahsoka&Anakin if it's Clone Wars specific, but I've never seen Rebels so I won't be able to write their interaction there.

Same for ships like Anakin/Obi-Wan or Obi-Wan/Maul - people are going to have different prompts and knowledge based on whether they are movies only or if they watched The Clone Wars as well.

At the very least, I think the movie-verse should be kept separate from the books (EU or legends) and the individual animated series.
