I really enjoy this show, but the later seasons make me sad. Basically I just want Mary & Francis to be happy? This doesn’t have to go FULL history-be-damned (although honestly, I’d be fine with that). A happy story set during their courtship or honeymoon period would work great for me, if you’re not in the mood for a “Mary & Francis have a baby and sign a peace with England” kind of fic.

Shenanigans involving Catherine and/or Mary and her ladies always amuse me. (I’m not interested in Francis/Lola, but if the fic is set after that situation has been resolved and Mary & Lola are friends again, you don't have to ignore Jean-Philippe or anything.) Comic fun is great.

Angsty/dramatic fic, as long as Mary & Francis aren’t angsty and feuding with each other, is fine too! Like, if Francis just wants to frickin’ tell Mary about his regicide way earlier, instead of breaking her heart by lying about it being her fertility that’s on his mind, that would be great. Anything where Mary & Francis have to be a team and save the day, I would love.

Smut works well for me too!

I love this show! Even the super sad & depressing fourth season. For this fandom I have way more prompts for Elizabeth/Philip than the others, but this is just because I already had that section written from past exchanges and the other ships are newer. NO ranking implied. :)

I’ve always loved Elizabeth – I watched Helen Mirren’s portrayal of her in The Queen at a formative age - and while Philip annoys the heck out of me sometimes (get over yourself, Philip!), I do ship them mightily.

Charles/Camilla and Charles/Diana

For these two ships what I am primarily interested in is canon-divergence AUs! Pretty much any point you want to diverge canon, I would be here for.

Some specific ideas:
• Camilla chooses Charles over Andrew, and refuses to give Charles up. What happens?
• Charles refuses to marry, and around the time that in canon he gives in and marries Diana, instead he reiterates to his family that it's Camilla or nothing. What happens? How does his family react?
• Totally not canon, but -- after the marriage, Charles finds that he's falling in love with Diana as well. How does he deal with being in love with two very different women at the same time?
• After the avalanche, the trio is able to establish a weird but workable relationship (totally here for Diana having discreet lovers as well). Particularly into Camilla coming through and making Charles treat Diana better.
• The Australia trip goes better, and Charles and Diana are able to build on that fragile moment of happiness. They learn to live with each other and build a life together.
• Diana doesn't die, and is still alive today. How does she get along with Kate and Meghan? What's her relationship like with Charles, Camilla, and the rest of the royal family?

Or other divergences! My preference is for angst that resolves well, or at least bittersweetly/somewhat hopefully. Please no onscreen eating disorders or physical/emotional abuse. Canon infidelity is okay for these two ships (please not for Elizabeth/Philip), but please don't make it TOO grim (and a lot of my divergences delete it or turn it into an open marriage/understood arrangement, which I don't DNW the same way).

Final Note: Although I only requested these three ships, I honestly enjoy all the relationships in the tagset for this fandom. I just balked at writing prompts for all of them. xD If you have an idea for any of those other ships, I would love to see it! Go wild.

I am really really craving happy "we won!!! we did it Joe!!!" fic or art. :D

Kamala is my absolute favorite. I have been Team Kamala FOREVER, back before she even ran for Senator. Her autobiography is amazing, and I just really love and support her and her vision, dreams, and passion. I mourned when she dropped out of the 2020 race, and rejoiced when she became the VP pick. I am fully, fully behind an eventual President Kamala.

Ideas:
• What was the conversation like when Joe asked Kamala to be his VP?
• Kamala after a long day on the campaign trail, exhausted but exhilarated, talking on the phone with Barack, Michelle, Hillary, or Joe
• The day Kamala truly believes for the first time that she could be President one day, and the person she shares it with
• The day Kamala becomes President, surrounded by any/all of the above
• Kamala dealing with a crisis as VP (who does she call?)
• Kamala’s first day on the job cleaning up the Mess the previous administration left behind (and who does she call to vent/give advice/etc.?)
• Hillary/Barack/Michelle/Joe is so proud of Kamala on Inauguration Day. (Either as VP or President.)
• Does Kamala hero-worship Hillary or Barack, just a little? Or even have a small lady-crush? (I'm not interested in full-blown Hillary/Kamala or Barack/Kamala, though, as Kamala & Doug's relationship is super cute and I can't imagine breaking them up.)
• The first conversation Kamala has with Hillary/Barack/Michelle have after Joe picks Kamala as VP.
• Five times Hillary/Barack/Michelle/Joe gave advice to Kamala (starting when she became a Senator, maybe?)
• Kamala and Hillary/Barack/Michelle/Joe's reaction to the 1/5 Georgia elections (Kamala gets to rule the Senate now!!) and/or the 1/6 Capitol Coup attempt.
• Kamala and Hillary/Barack/Michelle/Joe getting ready for the Inauguration and having a friendly and frank discussion about the hell of the last four years
• Art of the inauguration! Or Kamala and Joe on Election Night! Or Kamala celebrating with either/both of the Obamas! Or Hillary beaming at President Kamala! Etc etc etc.

These are just some ideas – if there’s another plotbunny that grabs you that has a similar “feel” to any of these, I will love it too. <3 Also, don't feel limited to just the relationships I've requested - if you have a plotbunny for Kamala & Hillary & Stacey Abrams, or Kamala & Barack & John Lewis, or Kamala & Jill Biden, etc etc, go for it!!

And if you love The West Wing as much as I do, feel free to have cameos from any of the WW characters! Definitely not required, just a fun option if you want. :)
