We're a couple of days into nominations and we're already at 4,761 relationship tags across 789 fandoms.

We have some queries as follows:
  • Agent Carter - does Steve Rogers appear in the show? If not, please move to Crossover Fandom
  • Fantastic Four Movies (2005-2007) - Tony Stark does not appear in these movies, please move these nominations to Crossover Fandom
  • Rocketman (2019) RPF - can the nominator tell us how Hugh Jackman relates to this fandom?
  • Rogue One - neither Luke Skywalker nor Poe Dameron appear in this movie. Please move to Crossover Fandom
  • Star Wars Prequel Trilogy - Ahsoka Tano does not appear in these movies, please move to Crossover Fandom.
  • Star Wars Sequel Trilogy - Jyn Erso does not appear in these movies, please move to Crossover Fandom.
  • Pokemon - we have nominations for Sword and Shield, the Main Series as a whole, All Media Types, and Black and White. We would like a consistent approach for Pokemon. How should the series be nominated?
  • Persona Series - please nominate into individual Persona games, or into Crossover Fandoms.
  • The Witcher - All Media Types - please nominate a specific version of the Witcher.
  • Fallout - should it be by individual titles or as a series as a whole?

Finally, if you're interested in nominating, requesting, or offering superhero comics, we're asking if you want them as a combined tag (aka Marvel Comics, DC Comics) or as individual titles. Currently, the numbers are 4 for individual titles and 2 for combined tags. We'll make a decision after the weekend is over, so please put your opinion forward if you have one!

I agree with this for the exact same reasons you mentioned. In saying that, I think comic series that differ from the main continuity and are essentially canon AUs should be nominated under their corresponding titles. For example DC's Bombshells takes place in an alternate universe, so the disambiguation should reflect that. For example the character Kate Kane (DC Comics) would be the Kate from the main continuity comics (titles such as Batwoman, Detective Comics, etc.) while Kate Kane (Bombshells) would be specific to the Bombshells AU.

EDIT: Coming back to this comment now after catching up on the previous post, and my preference would be to nominate all ships under the main fandom title e.g. DC Comics, and then use the disambiguation to designate a specific title if necessary. This will also allow people to nominate based on canon era if they desire, while ensuring all the noms for that franchise fall under the same umbrella.
