Welcome everyone to Chocolate Box 2019!
Nominations will open 18 December 2018, so now is a timely opportunity to let you all know about the changes that will occur this round.
First up, fewer nominations. For those who don't remember, last year our tagset was so large that I couldn't load the admin console. Chocolate Box's tagset has always been large enough that it is difficult to approve, but last year's experiences mean that this year we have to try something different. This year, nominations have been reduced to seven fandoms, and seven relationships for each. We'll assess the number of nominations for next year depending on how this goes, and hopefully we will be able to inch the numbers for nominations back up in future years, or reassess the configuration of the nominations (such as fewer fandoms and more ships, or vice versa).
Secondly, automatic screening of anonymous comments without AO3 names. We will be reading them, but an anonymous comment that does not contain the commenter's AO3 name will remain screened.
Finally, you may have noticed the use of "we" in this post. That's because Chocolate Box has grown too large for me to run on my own, so I have appointed a comod. Say hello to
thecatmod, my new partner in crime!
See you all on the 18th for tagset nomination!

I would personally prefer having them separate but I'm open to whatever works better for the mods.
