Tag Set Vetting

Nominations are finished! We have, at last count, 14,891 relationships nominated across 1,340 fandoms.

First up, I'm not able to edit the tagset. AO3 is aware of the problem, but I'm also aware that we'd like to open signups on time! What I propose to do is do my best to keep an eye on it, and the minute I'm able to get into the console (which might happen), I will triage certain fixes as being essential. This is the order I plan to edit the tagset:

• Removal of duplicates and unassociated tags
• Deleting and recreating wandering tags
• Merging/splitting fandoms
• Any other changes.

Signups will not open until all identified duplicates are removed. I'll try doing the rest, but I'm keen to open on the 1st.

To make this faster for me and thus maximize my chances of getting everything done, I'm going to leave comments to this post. If you have identified a problem that needs to be changed, comment in reply to that comment only please!

• Tyrion Lannister & Varys (ASoIaF) - you've nominated this under Game of Thrones. Are you fine with me fixing that to be Varys (GoT)?

• DCU - Which version for these characters?

Hi mod! I noticed a double nom (I was one of the nominators don't know who the second was). Also it should be in Video Games rather than Uncategorized Fandoms but I don't believe the fandom has a tag yet on AO3. The following two noms were:

I've merged those two fandoms together - may I ask you to check to see if there are any duplicates? I'm afraid that I can't associate the fandom to any media type - that's something only AO3 tag wranglers can do, and I'm not one!

Hi I wasn't sure which was more important to keep as the duplicates either don't give a characters surname or don't have (Nightshade) at the end. So the duplicates with no surname are as follows:
