There doesn't seem to be a clear consensus, so I'm opening it up to a vote. Currently the options I'm considering are:

Merging all nominations into All Media Types, with which individual series you mean to be specified in optional details;
Merging all nominations into All Media Types, with individual series to be specified in the tag after the character names (i.e. Character A & Character B (Source));
Approving by era (Prequel Trilogy, Original Trilogy, Clone Wars, Rogue One, The Force Awakens, Rebels and anything else that comes up).

As apparently you can only do polls if you have paid time, I have set up the second best option: roll calls Please comment in the correct subthread with your preference. The one with the most votes by 28 December is the one that I will do.

Not the nominator, but like I said in my comment on the last post Deadpool is not part of MCU. Therefore making Peter/Wade and Clint/Wade crossover pairings if they mean their movie versions.

Again, not the nominator, but I fairly certain that they meant the movie of fantastic beasts. The book was a textbook used in the harry potter series that JK Rowling wrote and published for charity. There isn't really characters or any plot like the movie.

I don't know if you want us pointing these things out to you, but I was going throught the MCU tags and I found Steve Rogers/Natasha Romanov/James "Bucky" Barnes (MCU), which is the non-alphabetical version of James "Bucky" Barnes/Steve Rogers/Natasha Romanov (MCU), which is also nominated.

Do you need a paid user to set up a poll for you? I could probably give it a try, if it would help you out. I don't think I've ever created a poll on DW, but I used them on LJ back when I ran icontests there, and the setup looks pretty much the same.

Question on the Star Wars poll. In the Option 3 scenario...

If someone wants to request a ship (ex. Han/Leia) that spans multiple series, does that mean you would have to use two fandom slots for the same ship?

Like, let's say I'm requesting Han/Leia. And I'm posting prompts based around A New Hope and The Force Awakens. Would I have to request Han/Leia twice? Once in The Force Awakens, and once in Original Trilogy? Or can we work around that somehow?

Speaking not as a mod, I think it would be just fine to use one fandom slot for the same ship. The point of differentiating them in the option three scenario is to know, in general, where you want your characterization to come from. And optional details are always awesome.

So, I filled up my requests for Force Awakens with Finn/Rey and a bunch of others, so I asked for Han/Leia under the Original Trilogy, but also mentioned in my optional details that Force Awakens characterization would be fine for that ship, giving the person assigned to me the choice of what they'd like to write. (Though, only do this if you aren't going to be cranky with getting Original Trilogy themed fic - that's what you are more likely to get in this scenario.)

That makes sense, thanks! For most pairs that fall in this category, I should have a preference for one canon over the others. I'll see as I get my request letter together :D Worst case, if anything is running 50/50 on prompts I can always double-request to be safe.

Age of Youth is in twice. Apparently two different nominations.
Once as

and once as
Age of Youth (K-Drama)

I did nominate neither, so have no idea which version people would like to keep.

There are some duplicated tags in Moana (2016):

"Gramma Tala & Moana Waialiki" and "Moana Waialiki & Tala Waialiki"
"Maui/Tamatoa" and "Tamatoa/Maui"

There's also "Moana Waialiki & Te Fiti", but the / version is in the opposite order, "Te Fiti/Moana Waialiki".

I've fixed the duplicates for Maui/Tamatoa and Moana Waialiki & Tala Waialiki.

I'm not sure if I understand the issue in terms of Moana and Te Fiti - is it that the names are reversed for the ship versus the platonic combo, rather than a true duplicate?

Yeah, it's that they're in opposite orders for & and /. I just thought it might confuse people.

Hey I'm super excited for this! While browsing the nominations so far, I noticed that there is a duplicate tag in the Supernatural fandom which you may want to fix:
