The tagset has closed, and you can find the current approved tag set here! For those interested in stats, we have 721 fandoms and 6884 relationships.

Now I'm requesting your help to finalize this tag set and make it the best it can be.

I'm particularly interested in the following:

• Sailor Moon: Should I divide this up and if so, how?
• Star Wars Series (Movies): duplications in the tag set;
• MCU + TV shows + Marvel 616: duplications in the tag set;
• DCU: I'm interested in nixing this category and leaving it as DC Comics and the various toonverses, but where should the tags go?

I will be working on the following post-haste (after a quick nap):

• Tolkien, as per this comment thread
• Wrestling.

Any problems or mistakes in the tagset, please drop them in a comment below and I'll get to them once I resurface from Tolkien.

Also a point for discussion: I have been considering upping the maximum number of requests and offers from 6 to 10. Would anyone mind if I did this? The minimums would remain the same.

Can you clarify the current max for offers and requests? This is from the FAQ:

You have to request stories in at least three fandoms. You can ask for up to ten fandoms if you want.

You have to offer to write in at least four fandoms. You can add two more for a total of ten fandoms, if you want.

Minor tag migration - the Female Imperial Agent | Cipher Nine/Hunter pairing belongs in a separate videogame fandom, Star Wars Legends: The Old Republic (the MMORPG), rather than Star Wars Legends: Knights of the Old Republic (the RPG).

Just some typos:

Under "The Traitor Baru Cormorant - Seth Dickinson," "Baru Cormorant & Xata Yawa" should say "Xate Yawa," and under "Brain Guzzlers from Beyond (IF Game)," "Jenny Yoahida/Mary Jane Minsky (Brain Guzzlers from Beyond!)" should read "Jenny Yoshida" (it's spelled right in the & version of the relationship).

But presumably someone nominated them with "(PGSM)" attached because they really want the PGSM versions, so stripping that out and just having all the relationships under AMT means that someone who's never even seen PGSM or doesn't like it could easily match with someone for whom that's the only version that they want. I would say either leave them as is, with the disambiguation, or split them out into a separate PGSM category (since it really is a very different canon).

Hey, I messed up when I nominated Caroline Bingley/Major Lord Edrington. I put it under Austen novels, but it should actually be under crossovers. Caroline Bingley is from Austen (Pride and Prejudice). Major Lord Edrington is from the Horatio Hornblower TV series.

(I only nominated in 4 fandoms, so the crossover fandom would have been my 5th, had I been thinking. Don't want you thinking I was trying to game the system or anything. *g*)

Also, a bunch of stuff ended up under Star Trek - Various Authors that doesn't need to be there. Ael t'Rllaillieu & Saavik, Cleante al Faisal & T'Shael, and Daniel Corrigan/T'Mir are pairings that include characters who only ever appeared in the books. Everything else under that fandom can safely be listed under Star Trek TOS.

I have no problem with the max being raised.

I was the one who nominated them. PGSM got tagged on to them because of how the mod was disambiguating fandoms. I didn't have a problem with PGSM being tagged on to them, until people started chiming in how that meant they would only be representing the live-action.

The only relationship that is tagged PGSM that isn't one of mine (Ail/An) I recognize from the original anime in a filler arc.

Also on the KotOR front:

"The Jedi Exile/Bao-Dur" pops up in both KotOR and KotOR II -- should only be in the latter.

There's also a potential issue that's been discussed on FFA that Canderous/Male Revan and Canderous/Revan are both in. (Revan is a PC the player can choose the gender of.) You could just leave it and it's requester/offerer beware that both are in the tag set (so people wanting to match on only the m/m version should use just that tag, but people happy to match on either might want to use both). But you could also add Canderous/Female Revan to make it clearer.

It's fine. I understand the objection and would support it if I or someone else had wanted to nominate relationships that are specific to the live-action.

I've fixed up The Jedi Exile/Bao-Dur. That should be in the right game now. I've also converted Canderous/Revan to Canderous/Female Revan, because as participants can choose up to twenty combinations and there are less than 20 possibilities you can just pick both if you don't have a preference as to which gender you get for Revan.
