I really, really don't like the age gap Arkane gave Corvo and Jess in canon and prefer to headcanon them as being only a year apart in age, with Jess as a year older (they met when he was 17/18 and she was 18/19).
I headcanon Emily as a lesbian and both Corvo and Jess as bi. I much prefer Emily/Alexi to Emily/Wyman. Retconning her death is more than welcome. I don't mind if it's set in DH1 or DH2, but no shippy stuff with Emily if DH1.
I also haven't played Death of the Outsider yet, so please don't include any information from that.
Also, I love Billie and really don't like Daud.
If referencing the games, I prefer Low Chaos, but this doesn't need to be with Clean Hands. I also play Corvo in DH2 rather than Emily. In general, I'd prefer DH1 era.
