We're three days into nominations and I have some more queries. It's very important that these get answered quickly, as while unapproved fandoms are shown randomly, the admin console shows approved fandoms with outstanding tags in strict alphabetical order by fandom alone. Until these are resolved, I can't really progress past M. (If your fandom has been approved but characters have not, this is why).

If I don't hear back from you within two days, your nomination will be rejected. You are able to petition for your nomination to be added back in; I simply need to move these so that I can approve things.

• I'm very confused - it looks like there's several universes mashed in together here. Can the nominator please confirm they are all part of one universe?

• Poe Dameron/Rey - This should be nominated in the Sequel Trilogy.

Michael Burnham & the genius loci of USS Shenzhou - Is this a crossover?

It's a fusion. The genius loci is a humanoid representative of a place in RoL. Michael Burnham/The genius locai of SS Discovery is also a fusion of the same two canons but misspelt it should be Michael Burnham/The genius locai of USS Discovery.

What if I want to nominate a combination where one character is from Doctor Who (1963) and one is from Doctor Who (2005)?

Not only in Rivers of London -- it comes from ancient Roman religion, though I don't know if that helps.

I assume that RoL means Rivers of London? Genius locii aren't limited to that series, however, so I suppose I'm wondering whether it properly belongs in Star Trek: Discovery instead.

While genus loci aren't unique to Rivers of London they don't exist in Star Trek which is why I put it in Crossover Fandoms.

Fate/stay night and related fandoms are all part of the Nasuverse, which operates much like the Marvel multiverse, in that different permutations are canonically accessible from other parts of the multiverse and there's an actual sequence to most of the pieces that are supposedly in continuity with each other, even while breaking continuity and handwaving it as alternate dimensions. The way it's setup, different versions of the same character can be summoned to coexist with each other. Saying some characters are from Fate/Zero or FSN or UBW or the Case Files or Strange Fake is much like identifying a single run of comics within the larger continuity of Marvel Comics.

Also, I don't care which timeline of Marvel's multiverse Loki comes from. Are you referring to movieverse vs. comics?

I appreciate that the spaceships are not sentient in Star Trek. That said, it's not a crossover between Star Trek: Discovery and Rivers of London and so I think that (though it is unelegant) it probably better belongs in Star Trek: Discovery. Unless I've completely misunderstood your point, that is?

My reading of the nomination for F/SN and Related Fandoms is that it contains nominations for things like Fate/Extra, which is different to the situation of Fate/Zero, F/SN and so forth because it's an alternate reality. That said, I agree entirely that the Nasuverse is complicated. I'm happy to send it through if it makes sense to other participants as to which version is meant.

In terms of Loki, I do need specificity because there are multiple Lokis! Kid Loki and Q would be a very different dynamic to MCU Loki, who would be different again to Agent of Asgard Loki. May I ask you to choose a particular kind of Loki, please?

There are 27 characters in Marvel Comics that do not specify any timeline, only that it's comics vs. movieverse, and they have just as many different permutations. I'm assuming that as long as the medium is the same that's sufficient specification. I split the nomination in two.

In terms of Loki (Marvel Comics) there are multiple Lokis in recent-ish continuity, and so that is confusing as to which one you mean. I want to help you with this tag, if you would like this tag to exist, but I need more information first. What would you like this tag to achieve?

Seeing literally any version of Loki, because his core character traits that make this interesting are the same, interact with Q. Two powerful mischiefmakers and how they'd view each other. Fraction Hawkeye, regular Hawkeye, and Old Man Hawkeye are all recent too. No one reading/writing him gets confused, even if many default to 616 and add Fraction. With Loki, there's a tendency to default to 616 and add Kid Loki but I really 100% have no preference. I really don't want to request 5 different tags just to make a single request when the prompt is going to go Loki/Q.

To go on, I've never seen any confusion in many fannish discussions, "in the comics, Loki" did or was x. It seems wrong to demand a narrower request when other Marvel Comics characters don't get the same.

Trying to explain from another angle why I don't really have any desire to nominate Loki (Marvel Comics, anything but Kid Loki), Kid Loki is post-reincarnation Loki. He is not in fact a different character altogether with no continuity. I would enjoy pre-reincarnation or post-reincarnation and the only way to exclude an option is to ask for Kid Loki specifically. Loki (Marvel Comics) is the default Loki tag and Loki (Agent of Asgard) and Kid Loki are the alternate tags. There isn't a better way to nominate just plain Loki (Marvel Comics) that I'm aware of.

Not the nominator but although Jethro Gibbs is from NCIS and Dwayne Pride is from NCIS New Orleans, they have appeared on each other's shows via crossovers, so in canon universe they are all connected.

Poe Dameron (SW:ST)/Jim Kirk (Star Trek) is me. I was intending any version of Jim Kirk, but I've split it into two nominations now [Poe/Jim-Reboot and Poe/Jim-TOS].

I also had another nom like that which was already approved, Jim Kirk/Han Solo. If that's not acceptable it could be similarly split.

Dangan Ronpa (Hope's Peak Arc) - I'm not the nominator, but the character's name is Genocide Jack. Genocide Jill is just a fan name. The official AO3 tag for that character is Genocider Syo | Genocide Jack, if that helps.
