Nominations are finished! We have, at last count, 14,891 relationships nominated across 1,340 fandoms.

First up, I'm not able to edit the tagset. AO3 is aware of the problem, but I'm also aware that we'd like to open signups on time! What I propose to do is do my best to keep an eye on it, and the minute I'm able to get into the console (which might happen), I will triage certain fixes as being essential. This is the order I plan to edit the tagset:

Removal of duplicates and unassociated tags
Deleting and recreating wandering tags
Merging/splitting fandoms
Any other changes.

Signups will not open until all identified duplicates are removed. I'll try doing the rest, but I'm keen to open on the 1st.

To make this faster for me and thus maximize my chances of getting everything done, I'm going to leave comments to this post. If you have identified a problem that needs to be changed, comment in reply to that comment only please!

Wandering tag under Small Trolls (Webcomic):
Sakari Harmonsuo & Veeti Harmonsuo (Year in Hereafter)

I see that this tag has also been properly nominated under Year in Hereafter (Webcomic), so it could be just deleted from the Small Trolls tags rather than deleted/moved to YiH.

Caveat: I'm not the original nominator, so this one is tricky, because there are indeed characters in the Small Trolls comic with these exact same names (Sakari Harmonsuo & Veeti Harmonsuo). Sakari has only appeared in the concept art so far but he does exist in that world. SO I'm not actually sure if the nominator actually did intend to nom the Small Trolls version of this gen relationship, or if the tag did wander from the Year in Hereafter section somehow.

That should be fixed up now!

Ariel/Nani Pelekai (Disney) is a duplicate of
Ariel (The Little Mermaid)/Nani Pelekai (Lilo and Stitch)

The duplicate tag can be found under The Little Mermaid, Lilo & Stitch, and Crossover Fandoms. The correct tag is found only under Crossover Fandoms.

I nominated Lilah Morgan/Wesley Wyndam-Pryce under Angel: The Series, and I think it's wandered over into Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It's listed in both fandoms, and it seems really unlikely that someone would nominate Lilah/Wesley for BtVS given that she only appears in Ats.

(This may be solved by merging the fandoms?)

That should be fixed up now to associate it with Angel - we'll see about merging fandoms and how much time I have before the console crashes again.

There are a few tags under crossover that are actually just DC Arrowverse tags:

From the duplicates list, I nominated Michael Burnham & Spock (TOS) and I think I originally put it under crossovers because Spock hasn't yet appeared in Star Trek Discovery. The duplicate Michael Burnham & Spock (ST:D) doesn't specify which version of Spock, AOS or TOS, the nominator was after.

Michael Burnham & T'Pol and Michael Burnham & Spock (ST:D) are still showing up in the Star Trek Discovery when they are both crossovers with other Star Trek series and Spock is still ambiguous.

While I was looking through the crossover tags, to find them, Hugh Culber (DIS)/Paul Stamets (DIS) & Leonard McCoy (Star Trek) doesn't specify the version of Leonard McCoy the nominator wanted (AOS or TOS).

(I honestly though it would be much higher, that's some impressive disambiguation you've been doing already. Only 3 MCU tags out of 256 were wandering ...)

I'm not sure what's going with the X-Men movies. There's one called X-Men (movieverse) and X-men (alternative timeline movies). There's quite an overlap in tags. Usually exchanges split up the X-Men movies by Alternative timeline and original timeline. Suggest merging the two together as one into (movieverse) and delete overlapping tags or split it up into original and alternative.
