We have some queries:

• Kochou Shinobu/Tomioka Giyuu (Kimetsu no Yaiba) - nominator, did you nominate this in the anime or the manga? It's gone wandering and we don't know where it should go.
• Sonic the Hedgehog - All Media Types - nominator, please pick a version.
• The Hobbit - All Media Types - nominator, please pick a version.
• The nominator who put "Female Tabris/Morrigan (Dragon Age)" as a fandom - we will correct your fandom and send it through once you confirm which relationship you're dropping of the eight you've included in here.

There were a lot of tags approved over the last few days, and we know that there will be duplicates and errors. We very much want you to tell us about tagset corrections: typographical errors, duplicates, wandering tags etc. Please tell us about them and we'll fix them up!

Edit: Chocobox App v1.0 is live thanks to the work of karanguni! As we are still finalizing our tagset, the app is not final, but feel free to test it out and report bugs so that the app can be made stronger, faster, and more terrifying with each iteration. Bugs can be reported here

Maybe the solution is to keep these two broader nominations and not the other three:

I would personally prefer that solution, because then I could prompt for any of the variations. But obviously that removes some specificity.

So maybe the solution is to keep the other three nominations and ask the nominator(s) of these two to specify. But obviously that could really easily disappoint people who saw these two nominations and assumed they didn't need to nominate their preferred dynamic, because it was already in the tag set, when (for example) their preference is for Adrien/Ladybug and the above nominator prefers Chat Noir/Marinette. This solution would also introduce weirdness in that most of the nominations with either character list them as "Adrien Agreste | Chat Noir" or "Marinette Dupain-Cheng | Ladybug" respectively, as do both nominations with "Gabriel Agreste | Papillon | Hawk Moth".²

Or maybe the solution is something else entirely.

¹ canon didn't say; the official/deuterocanonical Instagram post from one of the characters has both spellings; French adjectives change spelling to match the grammatical gender of the noun; the Ladybug/Chat Noir ship was already portmanteaued as 'Ladynoir'; canon did not actually spell out the name. it is probably not worth changing the spelling of the nomination?

² There's more than a dozen characters so far with both secret and superhero identities; I believe only three of their AO3 canonical tags pipe both identities together. ("Gabriel Agreste | Papillon | Hawk Moth" gets three names in the canonical for French vs English dub reasons.) For the record: I nominated "Alix Kubdel & Marinette Dupain-Cheng | Ladybug (ML)" figuring that Alix as Alix & Marinette as Marinette, Alix as Bunnyx & Marinette as Marinette, Alix as Bunnyx & Marinette as Ladybug, and Alix as Alix & Marinette as Ladybug are all fair game. I would be disappointed to have to narrow that down, or to have to restrict "Alya Césaire/Nino Lahiffe (ML)" to those identities to the exclusion of Alya as Rena Rouge or Nino as Carapace, and the main reason I nominated "Adrien Agreste & Aeon Hill & Jessica Keynes & Marinette Dupain-Cheng (ML)" without piping Adrien and Marinette is because the nominations have a character limit. Similar reasoning applies to my other nominations in this fandom. If the modly decision is each nomination has only one identity per character, I can work with that—and also assure you with 99.5% confidence that the nominator(s) of "Adrien Agreste | Chat Noir/Adrien Agreste | Chat Noir (ML)" and "Adrien Agreste | Chat Noir/Adrien Agreste | Chat Noir/Marinette Dupain-Cheng | Ladybug (ML)" meant to have one Adrien as Adrien and one Adrien as Chat Noir, because somebody joked about selfcest and somebody else joked about what if Adrien and Chat Noir were different people and then Adrichat ate Tumblr—but I doubt I'm the only one who was nominating under the assumption that, for any nomination including a character with multiple identities, all the identities are potentially in play.

We've removed the duplicates for Harley/Ivy and Bart/Cissie. For the other two, they're not true duplicates. DCU and Marvel have an exception to the usual rule because of the nature of the medium. Because comic book runs can be written by different authors, a character may be written in one run differently to another. To recognize that, we allowed comics fans to be able to specify runs in the disambiguation. It's a bit weird, but it was the only way we could think of to make it work and to address the needs of all comics fans!
