I know the song has religious connotation but for me it made me imagine some dystopian world where a guy had somehow monopolized a technology that made him some sort of demigod - immortal, could make rain on a whim, frankensteined a hundred people to make a chimera etc. He was corrupted by his power and thought of other humans as only resources for his power.

Then he came across this bright young man, who was very smart, and reminded him of his younger self. So he took him as his protege (and maybe as lover too), hoping to find someone to share his power and immortality with. The young man was initially very loyal to him (maybe the society worship the demigod), but grew increasingly disillusioned with things he witnesses. He ended up joining the rebels and led it against the demigod.

Ps: major character death(s) is okay but please make them had a strong affection for each other (for the angst).

If you feel this story would be too long then some 300 words snippets of just the trope below happening is fine too.

What I loved about this series is that is never gave us easy answers or claimed that the characters were always making the right decision. I see Rachel as a really troubled kid who is unable to get help for her problems (the addiction to violence) because they make her too useful to her team. By the end of the series she's been used up and sacrificed. I think Cassie could be the friend who's tough enough, and cares enough, to help Rachel. I put romance as an option, but my big interest is in that bedrock of friendship, whatever form it takes. You can go with a happy ending or bittersweet.

Also -- and I hope this isn't too contradictory -- I'd prefer if you didn't bash Jake or Tobias too much. Have them be amicable exes or something. All of them are such messed up, traumatized child soldiers, I think my main feeling for them is just sadness.

I recently re-read the Hidden Legacy trilogy again, and I am so excited for the upcoming sequels. I find Catalina’s magic fascinating - the ability to make somebody love you so madly is quite terrifying, and I’m keen to see her power interact with a romantic storyline - and while Alessandro is a bit of blank slate at this point, I’m interested in wherever you’d like to take his character. Do they get married as strangers and have to build a relationship after the wedding? Or I’d really love to see Catalina and Alessandro working together to solve a case for Baylor Investigations. I love tropes, so feel free to throw them into any trope-y sort of situations you can dream up: fake married (it would be so interesting to see them pretending to be married while uneasily knowing the real deal is on the table), sharing a bed (does Catalina’s magic seep out of her in dreams?), hurt/comfort, etc. Or: Alessandro flirting outrageously with/pursuing Catalina and her not really buying it (or it even freaking her out, because what if her magic is affecting him?), or the two of them dealing with the effects of any sort of spell or magic you can dream up.

The Devil in Winter is one of my favorite romance novels, and I would simply love fic or art for this couple. I adore how well this couple fits together: how Sebastian’s past isn’t romanticized like so many rakes in romance novels, and how he’s such a sharp, dry wit, while Evie is such a wonderful force of nature. I am so into how infatuated Sebastian becomes as he looks past Evie’s stutter and shyness and his initial (not that great) impression of her. For fic: I would love a modern day AU of this couple. What about a high school or college AU, where the class and social differences of the novel could play out? Or any sort of trope-y modern day situation: a long road trip, or forced to share a bed, or pretending to be dating (and Sebastian, to his shock, falls desperately in lust with the unassuming Evie). If you would like to write about them in their canonical time period, I would absolutely love to read about the two of them dancing or talking together BEFORE they become engaged/married, and Sebastian, for a moment, noticing Evie in a way that gives him pause. Or for art: I find the way Evie is described so very striking, with her brilliant red hair and curves, and I’d love any art of her paired with Sebastian’s slim, sharp Britishness. I’d adore either a modern day take on this couple (I mean, Sebastian in modern day men’s wear!) or any sort of art of their canonical selves (dresses of that time period are so gorgeous!) - go where the inspiration takes you!

I re-read these books as well this year, and I am just dying to read fic for these two. I’d love to get a closer look into their relationship than what you get in the books (which is lovely, smart YA, but still YA). It’s such a shame we didn’t get to see any of their married life at all in the books, as I am so interested to find out what those adjustments are like for the two of them - I mean, they were both just panting to be married, I’m sure they’re all over each other like crazy, and I love the intimate discoveries you make when living with somebody for the first time. I would LOVE to read about their wedding night (or the days immediately following their wedding) in particular - and if it makes any sort of difference, I sort of assume James is a virgin as well as Mary. Or, I always wished they wrote more to each other in the books - I adore the one letter that James did write begging Mary that the two of them should be friends/more-than-friends in the third book, and I would love to read more about the two of them corresponding and having a relationship/wooing each other via letters. Some other ideas: Different times they made out in the carriage, in a tight situation while investigating a case together (handcuffed or bound together, etc), ending up having to spend the night together some place, basically anything you can think of!

I started watching the second campaign of Critical Role last year and completely fell in love with this show. I am FASCINATED by Jester’s relationship with her god. It’s such a strange, twisted, personal relationship, with this odd touch of foreboding: so very different than how I’ve ever thought of a cleric relating to their deity. I’ve asked for both the gen and ship versions of their relationship, so please feel free to twist the dial in whichever of those directions you want to explore. For fic: I would love for Jester to ask the Traveler for advice on her boy troubles - she tells him so much about her life, but I imagine the Traveler has very different concerns and plans for Jester (and a very different POV of Fjord, as well as the rest of the Mighty Nein). Or what about the Traveler interacting with Jester and the rest of the Mighty Nein for the first time (I feel that they don’t quite understand that Jester actually does interact with the Traveler in exactly the manner she describes), or five times that Jester and the Traveler touched physically. For art: I’m interested in the idea that the Traveler is so closely following Jester’s life, and would love anything about how closely he watches her or how intimately he is tangled up of her life. Or, since Jester herself draws and that’s how she’s tells the Traveler about her day: perhaps a peek at Jester’s diary, and how she frames the events of her life for the Traveler? Or, if you’re interested in a shippier version of Jester and the Traveler, anything a bit eerie or slantingly twisted (like that moment in canon where Jester licks the spot of her apple where the Traveler took a bite) would be absolutely amazing.

Kingsman is my primary fandom right now and my happy place. I adore the fandom's primary ship – Hartwin (Harry Hart | Galahad / Gary "Eggsy" Unwin), but I am just as heavily invested in Merwin (Merlin/Eggsy) and Merlahad (Merlin/Harry) and Merhartwin (Merlin/Harry/Eggsy). What I love about these characters is their competence, their self-assurance, their moments of despair. I love the ancillary characters – Roxy | Lancelot, and how fandom has fleshed out Percival and James | Lancelot (Kingsman's equivalent of Phil Coulson/Clint Barton, but not only do these two never appear on screen together, Percival has no dialogue and James is killed shortly after the opening credits).

For some reason, my request to add Harry Hart | Galahad/Merlin (Kingsman) was not accepted, but if you would want to write Merlahad for me, I will love it.

What I'm not fond of is The Golden Circle. The gratuitous deaths of Roxy and the rest of Kingsman, and then Merlin's pointless death at the end of the movie have made this a no-go for me. And while I refuse to bash Eggsy's relationship with Princess Tilde (and their subsequent marriage), I simply don't like it. TGC and Stateman characters can be used to move the story along, but I don't want a story that focuses on them.

It's hard to put into words how much I love this trilogy - for me, although it's High Fantasy, it's the anti-LOTR. I have loved and adored this trilogy since it was first published in the late 1970s (yes, I am THAT old). It is not without its flaws (the journey to Lungold in the third book is frequently skipped during a re-read). I love the heartbreaking beauty of the canon ship, but I've also spent many hours imagining other pairings. Any story that can bring these characters to life in a lyrical voice will be much loved.

That said, this doesn't need to be shippy and it can be only Keith if that works better for you (I would also happily take a solo Shiro piece if that bunnies your more). I love comedy, so if you wanted to do a cute “caught in the act” piece I would love that (rated as gen or as explicit as you are inspired ... boys in lingerie is never a bad thing). I also love horror, so if you wanted to do a bloody battle on an alien world, you could make that as dark and gruesome as you are inspired. Again, since I've rambled and it may not be entirely clear: I ship Keith/Lance, I do not ship Shiro with either of them. You can draw a gen-rated piece and I will still love it if our shipping preferences don't synch up!

My Do Not Want for art is changing their species/appearance from what we see in the show (i.e. mermaids, full Galran Keith, etc.). Shiro & Keith: I see these two as siblings, so please keep things gen-rated and non-romantic between them. Shiro goes through the meat grinder in this series and somehow manages to hold himself together reasonably well. Please feel free to explore the angst, horror, and high-intensity action that Shiro endured on or off screen. I’d love to know more about his time in the Infinite Void (did Zarkon’s corrupted spirit still seek him and the Black Lion?). Why did he reach out to Lance from the void instead of Keith? What blocked him, if anything? Conversely, if you would prefer to focus on Keith, I would love to know more about his time with the Blades. Some missions, his time in the Abyss with his mother. I’m open to gen fic about Keith that is angsty, dark, and/or suspenseful.

My Do Not Want for fanfic is character bashing. Shiro is hugely important to the team, and to each of these boys. So is Allura. I love these two pushing each other's buttons (Greed 2.0 is welcome if it’s that part of the timeline). I love them learning to lean on each other. This can also be gen fic if you prefer. I love action and horror and pushing them to be brave and brilliant like they are in the manga. I love early fic where Ling is that annoying kid that keeps popping up everywhere to Guttony’s stomach. I especially love the Camping Trip of Doom where they are on the run from the military and preparing for the Promised Day. There is also the endless fun of post-manga story. Does Ed help Ling secure the throne in some way? Does he head East to study rentanjutsu? Does he take the new railway across the desert as an official ambassador? I’ll be happy so long as it feels canon.

My Do Not Wants for fanfic are AU’s or the seme/uke thing. I think seme/uke trends are more prevalent in Roy/Ed stories, but please keep Ed and Ling both in character all the same.

In regards to the Chris relationships I requested, he's my favorite character and I would love anything that deals with his identity being revealed in a different way/at some point earlier in season six and how it affects his relationship with his family.

Piper/Leo

I got one fic dealing with this premise, and would be glad to get another - the two of them grieving for Chris early in season seven. They never really talked about it much, even though their son's death clearly devastated them both.

Alternate season eight fics! Piper dealing with Leo being frozen on her own was tough, and I never understood why they didn't incorporate Holly's pregnancy for more angst. Of course, poor Leo would be the last to find out again but he'd definitely be surprised when he returned. Alternatively, Piper and Leo conceive Melinda immediately after Forever Charmed thanks to all that reunion sex. Also, Piper and Leo actually talking to Chris (who remembers everything, including his trip to the past) in the series finale before he and Wyatt return to the future.

In The Beefcake and the Cake Beef, Michael is using Will for money and accuses Jack of being in love with Will. Jack denied it in the episode but for the purposes of this fic, the truth comes out somehow (he's been in love with Will for thirty years!) and angst ensues.

Something where they adopt or Grace is their surrogate, and their first few days of parenthood. Jack is a father already (and grandfather, if this takes place during the revival) but he's never raised a baby before so this is all new to him.

Will realizes how he feels about Jack soon after the latter announces his engagement but refuses to say anything. And then Jack calls off his wedding... (alternatively, Will pulls a Jack and ends up objecting during the ceremony)

AU of 1.19 or 1.20 (The Only Light in the Darkness and Nothing Personal), where Skye and Ward get stuck in a time loop. It takes them a few loops to remember and then after several more, must work together to figure out how to break it.

An AU where he somehow joins the real world and has barely adjusted to that when he winds up in the future with the team.

The two of them figuring out how to deal with different versions of the person they loved.

For something I found interesting that the show didn't explore, Skye/Daisy gains different powers in the Framework instead of her normal power.

I can't get this AU out of my head where Ward (who has redeemed himself/is alive) is there with Fitz when he dies in the fifth season finale.

Ward is one of my favorite characters, and I'm still so disappointed with the way the show handled Garrett kidnapping and abusing him. I wish he could have had a redemption arc so any fic centered on that is amazing in my book. Maybe he turns against Garrett at some point pre-series or seeks help from someone on the team once he realizes his "savior" is abusive.

A Ward from an alternate (non-Framework) universe somehow ends up in the show timeline, and joins the team after being proven trustworthy.
