Beta Post

One of the more valuable services people can offer is betaing: that is, looking over someone's work and suggesting ways to make it better than it already is!

If you are able to beta, please comment to this post with the following:

Your AO3 name:
Your email address:
Fandoms you can beta:
Fanfic or Fanart or both?:
Can you do SPAG betaing?:
What things can't you beta?:
Anything else? (Turnaround, periods you're not available etc.):

There is also [community profile] betaplease -  if you use this, please remember that you must keep who and what you are writing a secret as best you can. Thank you!

Fandoms you can beta: Warframe, Transformers (most of the cartoons from the 2000s), the Marvel Cinematic Universe (and Venom), Disney fandoms, The Murderbot Diaries, Overwatch. Those are the fandoms I know pretty well, but I'll beta any fandom/original work for SPAG!
Fanfic or Fanart or both?: Happy to help with both! You can see my art here and judge if I'd be any help to you, lol
Can you do SPAG betaing?: Yes, any fandom or original work!
What things can't you beta?: Depends on what you want; I'll SPAG check anything except rape but if you're looking for in-depth commentary on character or plot then I'm a bit more limited by the fandoms I know (original works are anything goes). Don't be afraid to ask!
Anything else?: GDocs or MSWord both work for me! My turnaround is pretty quick for SPAG checks, longer for in-depth commentary but it should never be more than 72 hours. If you contact me please tell me the fandom, pairings, word count, any major warnings, and let me know if you just want SPAG or if you want me to give you feedback on characterization, plot, pace, whatever. The only thing I ask in return is credit as a beta in a footnote when you post your work. Looking forward to providing any help I can :D
