For Pokemon, my preference would be the main series video games together under 'Main Game Series', and other versions of continuity in their own continuity specific tags. To elaborate, there's basically three different media universes in Pokemon:

The Pokemon 'main series' games (Red/Blue/Yellow through Sword/Shield) have a shared universe and continuity, and often characters from one game in the series appear in other games in the series - for example, the same Red from Red/Blue/Yellow appears in Gold/Silver/Crystal and Sun/Moon as well.

The main anime has its own entirely separate continuity, and while characters from the anime have some similarities to their game counterparts, they mostly have their own characterizations and there's no crossover with the games' world.

And then the 'Pokemon Special/Pokemon Adventures' manga has characters who have the same names and appearances as characters from the games, but entirely different backstories and characterizations - many of the heroic characters from the games are villains in the manga.

(There's also a bunch of other spinoffs, too, but most of them don't share any human characters with the above continuities.)

If it were All Media Types, that would cause some issues with sorting out which character people are requesting; just as an example, there's someone named Sabrina who exists in all three continuities, but in one she's a soft-spoken but friendly trainer, in another she's a ventriloquist with split personalities who turns people into dolls, and in a third she's a villainous gang member.
